The paint used is non-toxic and totally safe for food.

Please DO NOT use sharp knives or implements on these items as it can damage the paint and leave marks. If using these items for food, they are ideal for fruit platters, sandwiches, small slices and cakes - anything that doesn't need cutting or the use of cutlery. 

These hand painted items are also NOT dishwasher safe. A damp soapy cloth/sponge should be used to clean.

Unlike mass produced items, hand painted items do have imperfections. No two are the same! We like to think of it more like character! Each item is truly unique and 100% hand painted.
