We are a small (tiny) business located in far north Queensland near Cairns. The scenery is stunning, the winters are glorious and the summers get really, really hot - well really, really humid which makes it feel really, really hot! We are surrounded by the most beautiful rainforests, waterfalls, swimming holes, beaches, The Great Barrier Reef - as well as crocodiles and irukandji jellyfish (the ones that can kill you!). However, we're all very croc wise and irukandji wise up here, and it tends to only be the foolish who get in to strife! You'll see a lot of our glorious scenery in our posts because it's just too stunning not to use!
Prior to Diva Plates being born, artist Mel.B. only created the Divas on ceramics and paper) paintings. And they were a hit! Divas would see a vision of a friend, a neighbour, a relative, a work colleague....... in the Diva ceramics and the demand was high. Wanting to offer a broader range of products, with some more affordable options - Diva Plates was born. We now offer not only the ceramics and paintings, but also melamine plates, tea towels and cards. And, as we grow we will introduce more and more Divas and Diva products.
Diva Plates don't do beige, or blush, or champagne (the colour not the drink) or any of those bland shades. Diva Plates does colour and lots of it. We like to put a smile on the dial when seeing our Divas. Happiness, laughter and sparkles! There's enough misery in the world, so we want to bring good vibes, colour and cheer to it.
